Painting the rims

It took me a while to decide if I should paint the rims or have them powder coated. Since I want to do as much as possible by myself I am going for the paintjob. Hope this is going to work out well. Never done it before. My rational was: If it sucks at the end I can still go for the powdercoating. Doesn't work the other way around though.

The first part is to clean them really thoroughly. And sand them in each and every corner. That alone took me four hours of pain and exhaustion :-)
