Seat

I used a piece of 1,5mm aluminium to build the base for the seat

After that I took the seat base, as well as the entire bike to my local upholstery. I had a certain shape in my mind and briefed the upholstery as detailed as possible. Supported by pictures from the net.

Since the guy is a real pro he shaped the core first and let me take a testride. That's how it looked like:

Unfortunately the ergonomics didn't suit me at all. After riding 300+ kilometers on the metalplate before I was used to sit within the buike. Now it felt like sitting ontop of the buike. The handlebars were to low. And I felt kinda disconnected. I needed to alter my concept. At the end I decided to go for a really low seat to bring back that initial feeling.
